Hearts On Fire, a premium diamond jewellery brand, is seeking a 3D CAD Designer to be part of the global team headquartered in Hong Kong.

What You Will Own:

As a first in-house 3D CAD designer, you will be working closely with Design and Product Development teams in Hong Kong. As a 3D model expert in the Design team, you will be responsible for creating selected soft prototypes to actualize designer’s vision into concrete ideas.

- Support jewelry designers on design development by translating designer’s hand sketches into 3D models using Rhinoceros or Matrix.
- Bring both design sensibility and technical knowledge into each project.
- Create multiple iterations of design components to help reach desired scale, proposition and weights.
- Make revisions upon requests until meet desired aesthetic on design.
- Create technical specifications on approved design or components.
- Own and operate the 3D resin prints for design team.
- Work closely with Manager of Design and Senior Designer to bring all concepts to physical components through 3D resin prints.
- Occasionally support special projects on custom design orders.
- Attend meetings with factory in China alongside Manger of Design to bridge the Design and Product Development.

Who Will Thrive:

- Skilled in 3D CAD including Rhinoceros 3D, Matrix.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in 3D CAD design.
- Possess in-depth knowledge product design and production standards/ practices.
- Strong and concise communication skill (verbal and written).
- Strong organizational skill.
